Érinn C. Cameron, M.A., Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist and Global Mental Health Fellow in the Boston University Medical Campus-Massachusetts General Hospital Global Psychiatry Clinical Research Training Program. She also recently completed a Global Health fellowship in the HBNU Fogarty Global Health Training Program. Dr. Cameron completed her doctoral work in clinical psychology at Fielding Graduate University and her doctoral clinical residency in Integrated Behavioral Health at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. For her Fogarty fellowship, she investigated the effects of water insecurity on the mental health and treatment adherence of pregnant women living with HIV in Western Cape South Africa. For the T-32 Fellowship, Dr. Cameron will continue to investigate the impacts of climate change on perinatal mental health in low and middle income countries with mentorship from Dr. David Henderson at Boston Medical Center and Boston University and Dr. Jennifer N. Crawford at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Cameron also collaborates extensively with Dr. Kristine M. Jacquin. Dr. Cameron was recently awarded the Dr. Sally Peterson Research Excellence Award for her first-authored paper regarding female incarceration and violence against women and the Seisoh Sukemune/Bruce Bain Encouragement of Early Career Research Award for her work regarding climate change and women's health from the International Council of Psychologists. Her dissertation work in women's health, under the mentorship of Dr. Kristine M. Jacquin, was awarded the Fielding Graduate University Dissertation Award, the APA Division 55 Student Research Award, the University of New Mexico School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry Research Showcase Award, and the NIDRA R13 Early Career Research Award. Dr. Cameron is also an inaugural member of the APA Division 52 International Environmental Justice Committee where she is co-editor for an upcoming special edition of International Perspectives in Psychology titled "Environmental Justice and Psychology: Alternative Ideas on Environmental Justice," is part of the editorial team for the forthcoming Cambridge Handbook of People and the Planet, and serves as the Editor of the The International Psychologist.
